This is on behalf of a Mimecast forum member called Andy Fisher: Has anyone else had any success with latest updates? The users that I pushed the latest updates to are reporting that their Outlook has stopped flickering. After the monthly update the same set of emails open just fine - no flicker. The flickering would always start before they all opened. Previous to that update I could consistently trigger the flashing by selecting around 40-50 emails from the Inbox, right-clickingĪnd selecting Open. Late last week we put a number of PCs onto the Monthly channel after which they updated to Version 1712 (Build 8827.2148). We're on Windows 7 64 bit with 32 bit Office dual monitors, and have Mimecast (v7.4 R1) amongst our list of Outlook add-ins.ĭisabling Mimecast has alleviated the issue for some users but hasn't completely stopped the flickering.

I deleted my users outlook mail profile and just tried your registry "DisableADALaptopWAMOverride" and it completely FIXED MY ISSUE! I really appreciate you posting this "Temporary" solution.I've also been battling this issue across my fleet of Dell Optiplexes since rolling out Office 365 Pro Plus mid-to-late last year. What worked for us was creating batch files to switch these various options on and off and trying different combinations. We've managed to botch a solution by trying various suggestions from other forums. We'd put it down to using CloudFlare as you could see errors in the cloudflare logs to do with the outlook autodiscovery being blocked but we were unable to resolve them within CF. We've had this issue on and off since we began using Office365. We use Office365 (Exchange Online) to host our email and the staff use Outlook 2016.
